Sounds interesting and look forward to seeing how the traditional tale will get twisted into a Moffat interpretation. Am exctited to hear that Michael Gambon will be in it and will enjoy seeing how they will use him in the story.

Ahh I loved the new series of Doctor Who and I am quietly looking forward to the christmas special. as long as Katherine Jenkins can act. Great to hear Michael Gambon’s in it – as Scrooge maybe?

@dave1884 – perhaps they are fans of Dr Who, moved to comment because of their opinion on the quality of the latest series. I’m pretty sure that’s a valid reason.

Speaking of medication though, why does everyone quoted in press releases seem to be on a combination of ecstacy and prozac?

if your not a doctor who fan, why leave any comments ?

i don’t like any of the soaps at all, but i don’t go around forums saying this is rubbish, that is rubbish.

it’s obvious the negative comments come from people on medication.

Provided that Jenkins can act (and I trust the DW team enough to think they wouldn’t just stunt cast) this sounds great.

I’ve never been a fan of any Dickens novel, A Christmas Carol included, but I’d still love to see a DW twist to the story. I’m really excited to see what Moffat can do writing a Christmas Special.
