After 10 years, the oldest teen superhero will finally fly off our screens. There will only be one more season of Smallville, claims The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed, and then the CW network will call it a day on the show. Many had predicted that the show’s ninth season, which has just come to an end, would be the series’ swan song, but a move to Friday nights actually saw ratings go up, giving Smallville temporary reprieve, and a tenth but apparently final season. CW will make the official announcement tomorrow, reckons the article.
