KevTheLostDoctor - I would recommend the Eisenhorn Omnibus first. Even if you're not into 40K its a fantastic book...then once you're hooked read the Ravenor Omnibus and then Gaunt's Ghosts series in order. Not read the Horus books yet as still working my way through GG.

Enjoy!

I'm a fan of Dan Abnett's Warhammer books, but this is the first I'd heard about his epilepsy - sorry to hear it. Glad to hear he was able to get his next one finished all the same, and can't wait to read it.

Maybe go with 'The Founding', which is a collection of his first three novels (starting with 'First and Only' mentioned above) centring on a single regiment of the Imperial Guard corps.

Great interview! I'm a fan of Dan through 2000ad and the Megazine - his work on Sinister Dexter has always been my favourite - I've always wanted to get into his books but he's done so many I don't know where to start... Does anyone know where I should begin? :)
