enjoyed it a lot ,less “pantomime” than tennants doc which can only be a good thing…matt did remind me of the guy who played the chef in ” carry on cruising” a couple of times and the laptop scene was classic!

Really looking forward to the series, but any chance of a review of an episode that doesnt contain the phrase ‘hugely enjoyable romp’ ot some such variant? Its getting a bit tiresome.

This… is intriguing. Which is saying something as I haven’t been intrigued by Doctor Who in quite some time. Actually I haven’t seen a single episode since the end of series 4 so the fact that I’m contemplating actually watching this series… yes. Promising.

Really looking forward to this, but I have been for some time; your reaction to the first episode just reinforces my original opinion of how well Smith/Moffat will do.

That little picture you have in this months issue with David Tennant and Matt Smith’s faces side by side really exemplifies how I feel about the change. On the left you have Tennant, with that serious, angsty, inwardly tormented expression that had come to dominate his Doctor, and then on the right there’s Smith, smiling like he’s just discovered something really, really cool and can’t wait to tell you about it. I know which I’d rather be watching.

Oh my God cannot wait and I can’t believe the airdate is so close! I feel envious that you have seen the inside of the TARDIS already but at least you will have to wait with the rest of us to see the new theme song! Hope it doesn’t suck! 3rd April can’t come quick enough… :)
