You Are Re-entering The Twilight Zone

It’s been a year since Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, announced that it was prepping a new Twilight Zone movie, since when things have been a bit quiet. But now the project seems to be moving ahead with the announcement that a writer has been commissioned.

He is Rand Ravich, whose credits include directing The Astronaut’s Wife, executive producing Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind and creating NBC TV detective series Life.

The film is based on the legendary 1959-64 anthology TV series introduced by Rod Serling. There has already been one Twilight Zone movie in 1983, which comprised four different stories directed by Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, John Landis and George Miller. However, early indications are that the new movie would not follow a similar portmanteau format, but would instead be a continuing storyline based on one or a number of episodes.
